The key is kept only in this page's memory. It isn't saved to localStorage,
isn't sent anywhere except in calls to api.anthropic.com, and disappears once you close the tab.
Without a key, demo mode runs with a pre-written report.
What a Claude API call looks like in this app
In production, the key does not belong in the browser. The supervisor's notes contain employee names — the call should go through your server, where you can enable logging and control over what gets sent.
