Settings — custom API key
The key is kept only in this page's memory. It isn't saved to localStorage,
isn't sent anywhere except in the call to api.anthropic.com, and disappears once you close the tab.
The firm's rules, checks and export all work without an API key.
What a Claude API call looks like in this app
In production, the key doesn't belong in the browser. Client documents are sensitive — the call should go through your server, where you can turn on logging and control what gets sent.
